Victor, a worldwide managing common underwriter (MGU), is increasing its underwriting capabilities into the reinsurance market. The agency introduced it has acquired the enterprise of Regional Treaty Companies Corp. (RTSC), a Newport, Rhode Island-based, privately-held reinsurance MGU.
Phrases of the transaction weren’t disclosed.
Based in 2003, RTSC underwrites and manages three reinsurance services for small to midsize U.S.-based insurers primarily writing private traces, small agriculture and major avenue business enterprise.
John Pfautz, founding father of RTSC, will be part of Victor, persevering with in his present duties and report back to Brian Hanuschak, CEO of Victor Insurance coverage Holdings.
Victor Insurance coverage Holdings, which is MGU for insurance coverage dealer Marsh, has areas within the U.S., Canada, UK, Netherlands, Italy, and Australia. It handles greater than $2.5 billion in premium. Victor’s world companies embrace ICAT, Dovetail,and Victor Worldwide.
