Kazakhstan’s flagship provider, Air Astana, has suspended all flights to Russia and over Russian territory as a result of such flights can not be insured, the corporate stated on Friday.
Air Astana, by which Britain’s BAE Programs owns a 49% stake, stated it was working with the federal government of Kazakhstan, Russia’s neighbor and shut ally, on resolving the problem.
